The Conran Shop collaborates with design duo Supergroup on ‘Oddments’ a celebration of craft, colour and the joy of ‘Oddments’

Supergroup is a collaboration between ceramicist Ian McIntyre and artist John Booth, built on shared experimentation with industrial and craft processes.

The Conran Shop partners with the design duo Supergroup to launch an exclusive range celebrating colour, craft, and the joy of decorative objects Oddments, an exclusive new collection of decorative accessories. The range brings together expressive craftsmanship, bold experimentation with materials, and a playful design language that reimagines the role of decorative objects.

“Oddments began with a fascination we both have around decorative objects,” says Supergroup. “All the designs have been hand-drawn, and we developed a range of playful surface applications and colours across the collection — from double-dipped glazes to sgraffito and hand-painting techniques. We were inspired by the rich colour history within ceramics, including references

like chrome green and celadon blue. We loved playing with conventional material histories while taking a more joyful, exploratory approach to the medium.” The Oddments collection consists of 20 products including vases, mobiles, pen pots and decorative accessories ranging from £30 - £85. Oddments will launch in February.
